For the Indian occasion of Bhaidooj (Bhaphota for Bengalis) I chose to be traditional yet sassy.
Let me share some of my moments with you all!
I made this sleeveless ethnic jacket from ‘Chanderi’ material originally from Chanderi town, Madhya Pradesh India. This material is really into fashion right now so I tried a little bit of experiment with it.
This ethnic long skirt is made from a mixed material of synthetic origin and raw silk.
It has a shiny texture that gives out hues of two colour. It also has patterned patchwork of zari and threads. I love it’s rusty orange colour! To keep the focus on the two bright colours in my outfit- Red and Orange, I chose a black monochromatic topwear to pair with the short jacket.
I love how my curls went along with this look!
I just used a bright red matte lip shade, winged eyes, golden eye shadow and beige blusher. A big red vermillion dot completed my look of the day!
The meenakari metal bangle and the multi colour beaded hanging earrings were just perfect! Simple yet attractive!
My day was awesome and I not only celebratedo it ton bless my brothers but also my sisters! Hope you do the same!
